What does renounced actually mean?
The owner slot points at a dead address and no proxy admin can upgrade the code. Anything short of that is still an admin key.
Is a multisig the same as renounced?
No. A multisig is still a key. Safer than one EOA, not the same as a dead owner.
Why do you care about proxies?
The token you hold can be the proxy. The implementation behind it can change if the admin key is live.
